“Imagine: Heart Whispers”

I came across this post on another site today and was struck instantly by its relevance to our conversations here.  We strive to “speak freely” and to receive the understanding of her messages sent in whispers of our most intimate truth.  As for believing, that’s the key isn’t it?  Choosing to trust in what is true.  Ah, then there is the real question….the final paragraph of this poem as posted at Cato’s Scribbles:  “Do people even have the
strength, patience, and courage to listen to whispers of the heart?”  And so to you my friends, that is my question today.  Can you find within yourself all the you need to not only hear and connect to your heart…..but do you find within the desire, the passion, the commitment, indeed the stamina required by your soul to LISTEN to the whispers of your heart?

What if hearts could speak freely?
What would they say?

Would we like what they tell us
or would we hate what they say?

It must be difficult to understand
words of the heart.

If we all did hear
and understand them,

would we believe
everything they say?

would we follow
what they tell us to do?

Do people
even have the
and courage
to listen to
whispers of the heart?
